On 10 May 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 10,000 ordinary shares at a price of 229p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 8,329,110 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 95,254,092 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
