On 21 July 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 95,500 ordinary shares at a price of 235.8523p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,523,965 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 94,059,237 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
