On 25 July 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 50,000 ordinary shares at a price of 235.75p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,649,054 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 93,934,148 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
