On 14 September 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 1,566 ordinary shares at a price of 235.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY.

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,993,546 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 93,589,656 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
