On 20 September 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 8,251 ordinary shares at a price of 233.2715p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY.

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 10,002,452 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 93,580,750 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
