On 2 October 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 10,106 ordinary shares at a price of 236.5976p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY.

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 10,083,397 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 93,499,805 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
