On 6 December 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 40,000 ordinary shares at a price of 240p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY.

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 10,707,965 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 92,875,237 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
