On 7 December 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 24,411 ordinary shares at a price of 240.4377p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY.

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 10,732,376 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 92,850,826 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
