Appointment of Independent Non-Executive Director

 

Mattioli Woods plc (AIM: MTW.L), the specialist wealth management and asset management business, is pleased to announce the appointment of a new independent Non-Executive Director, Alison McKinna with effect from Monday 11 December 2023.

Alison is an experienced business leader and has a track record of delivering growth through digital innovation, and customer-focused business transformations across diverse sectors. She brings a wealth of experience in strategy development and leadership from her executive experience including Irwin Mitchell LLP and Social Work England, as well as Non-Executive Director roles for Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Cancer Central CIC. Prior roles also include experience of risk management at Capital One and business integration programme management at Centrica.

Cancer Central CIC was recognised at the 2021 Public Sector Digital Technology Leaders Awards for their digital innovation, and Alison was nominated as a finalist at the 2021 Director of the Year at the UK Women in IT Awards for her contribution to diversity and inclusion in the technology and construction industry. Her passion for defining clear strategies and driving improved performance makes Alison a strong addition to the Board of Mattioli Woods plc.

After a transition period to effect the handovers, the composition of the Board committees will be:

·     Audit Committee:

Martin Reason (Chair), Anne Gunther, Alison McKinna;

·     Risk and Compliance Committee:

Alison McKinna (Chair), Anne Gunther, Martin Reason;

·     Nomination Committee:

Anne Gunther (Chair), Martin Reason, Ian Mattioli;

·     Remuneration Committee:

Martin Reason (Chair), Anne Gunther, and Alison McKinna.
