The Board of AiM VCT2 plc is pleased to announce that pursuant to an Offer for
Subscription, a further 90,684 ordinary shares have been issued today at a price
of 94p. Trading in these additional shares is expected to commence on 30 July
2004 at 8.00am.

The total number of shares in issue is now 43,467,183.
