The Board of AiM VCT2 plc is pleased to announce that pursuant to an Offer for
Subscription, a further 87,271 ordinary shares have been issued today at a price
of 102p. Trading in these additional shares is expected to commence on 28
February 2005 at 8.00am.

The total number of shares in issue is now 43,201,155.
