Portfolio Update and Unaudited Net Asset Value

The Directors of Maven Income and Growth VCT 5 PLC ("the Company") are pleased to confirm that, on 9 December 2015, the Company completed the disposal of its investment in Westway Services Holdings (2014) Limited ("Westway").

As a result of the Westway disposal, the Company's unaudited net asset value per share will increase by approximately 1.0p, an increase of approximately 2.5% from the unaudited net asset value per share of 39.33p as at 31 August 2015.

The Company's unaudited net asset value as at 30 November 2015 will be announced late January 2016.
