Aberdeen Growth Opportunities VCT PLC



The Directors are pleased to declare a capital dividend of 1.5p per share, which
will be paid with the final dividend on 28 April 2006 to shareholders on the
register on 31 March 2006. The total dividends to be paid on 28 April 2006 will
now therefore be 2p per share. As indicated in the preliminary announcement on
31 December 2005, the Company has now renounced investment company status, which
enables it to pay capital dividends.
