Investment Activity



Since the company's last financial year end, a further twelve new investments
have been made at a total cost of £2.27 million:-



Accuma plc (*) (March 2005) - £100,000. Based in Manchester, Accuma is a
provider of personal debt advice specialising in individual voluntary
arrangements.



Augean plc (*) (December 2004) - £210,000. Based in London, Augean is a group of
companies in the UK waste, water management and supply services sectors.



Elevation Events plc (*) (May 2005) - £150,000. Based in London, Elevation is a
provider of event marketing and management services.



FFC (UK) Limited  (March 2005) - £200,000. Based in Keighley, West Yorkshire,
FFC is a designer and manufacturer of office furniture.



Gladstone plc (*) (February 2005) - £175,000. Based in  Oxon, Gladstone is a
developer of specialised membership software for the leisure industry.



Inspicio plc (*) (April 2005) - £125,000. Based in London, Inspicio is a
provider of services in the UK and international testing, inspection and
performance conformity markets.



Original Shoe Company Limited (May 2005) - £300,000. Based in Ayrshire, Original
Shoe is a leading branded clothing and shoe retailer. The total fundraising was
£2.0 million and Murray VCT 4 PLC, Aberdeen Growth VCT I PLC, Aberdeen Growth
Opportunities VCT 2 PLC, Talisman First VCT PLC and Aberdeen Development Capital
PLC were co-investors.



Sanastro Limited (December 2004) - £275,000. Based in London, Sanastro is a
business-to-business publishing company. The total fundraising was £6.75 million
and Murray VCT 4 PLC was a co-investor.



Software Radio Technology (UK) Limited (March 2005) - £250,000. Based in Bath,
Software Radio Technology is a provider of wireless technology to the TETRA and
AIS marine markets. The total fundraising was £750,000 and Aberdeen Growth VCT I
PLC and Aberdeen Growth Opportunities VCT 2 PLC were co-investors.



Spectrum Interactive plc (*) (April 2005) - £117,000. Based in Hemel Hempstead,
Spectrum Interactive is a provider of payphones and internet access throughout
the UK.



Travel Class Holdings Limited (February 2005) - £220,000. Based in New Milton,
Hampshire, Travel Class provides activity-based educational holidays for
schoolchildren, catering for both the ski and spring/summer vacation markets.
The total fundraising was £1.254 million and Aberdeen Growth VCT 1 PLC, Aberdeen
Growth Opportunities VCT 2 PLC and Aberdeen Development Capital PLC were
co-investors.

Zetar plc (*) (March 2005) - £150,000. Based in London, Zetar is a specialist 
manufacturer of chocolate confectionery.
