ABERDEEN GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES VCT PLC - SHARE BUY-BACK

On 3 August 2009 Aberdeen Growth Opportunities VCT PLC purchased for cancellation 5,000 of its own Ordinary shares at 40.95p per share.

Following the transaction, the Company's Ordinary issued share capital is 27,460,383 Ordinary shares of 10p each.
