On 4 December 2009 Aberdeen Growth Opportunities VCT PLC purchased for cancellation 4,693 of its own Ordinary shares at 49.00p per share.

Following the transaction, the Company's Ordinary issued share capital is 27,455,690 Ordinary shares of 10p each.
