            Aberdeen Growth Opportunities VCT 2 PLC ( "the Company")

           Offer for subscription of S Ordinary Shares ("the Offer")

The Directors of Aberdeen Growth Opportunities VCT 2 PLC are pleased to announce
that, pursuant to the Offer for Subscription which opened on 6 October 2006, the
Company has today issued and allotted 982,405 S Ordinary shares of 10 pence, and
that the number of S Ordinary share in issue is now 982,405. The remaining S
Ordinary Shares will be issued and allotted following receipt of valid
applications under the Offer.  The Offer Price at which the shares were issued
and allotted was £1.00 per S Ordinary share.

The 2006/2007 Offer is expected to remain open until 3.00 pm on 4 April 2007.
The 2007/2008 offer will remain open until 3 July 2007
