McBride plc has been informed today that on 22 March 2006, a notional allocation
was granted under the terms of the McBride plc 2005 Long Term Incentive Scheme
to the Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility (PDMR) of the Company as set
out below.  These ordinary shares will vest at the end of a three year period
depending on the achievement of performance targets set out in the scheme, but
will not require any payment from the PDMR.
