McBride plc, Europe's leading provider of private label household and personal
care products, announces today the intention of Mr Henri Talerman to stand down
as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from the next Annual
General Meeting of the Company in October 2008.



Henri has been on the Board since 1993 and has served on all the sub-committees
of the Board during his time with the Company, holding the role of Chairman of
both the Audit and the Remuneration sub-committees at various times.



Iain Napier, Chairman commented:
