McBride plc has received the following notification from Lord Sheppard.

'Lord Sheppard, Chairman, has today purchased 200,000 McBride plc ordinary
shares at 74.0p.  This increases his total family holding to 2.0 million
ordinary shares (1.13% of equity in issue).'
