Section 198 of the Companies Act 1985
McBride PLC ('the Company') has today been advised pursuant to Section 198 of
the Companies Act 1985, that as at close of business on 22 September 2006, JOHCM
OEIC Managers LLP was interested in 7,311,705 ordinary shares in the Company
representing 4.13% of it's issued ordinary share capital.
This holding of 7,311,705 shares includes a holding of 665,000 shares by FF&P
Small Cap UK Equity Fund, a sub fund of FF&P Global Equities Umbrella Fund, and
a client for which they act as Investment Manager, and a non-material interest
of 6,646,705 Ordinary shares in which a Limited Liability Partnership owned by J
O Hambro Capital Management Group Limited is interested as investment manager of
undertakings for collective investments in transferable securities.
