McBRIDE AND NICHOL COMPLETE JOINT VENTURE AEROSOL COMPANY AND McBRIDE ACQUIRES
             NICHOL'S HOUSEHOLD AND PERSONAL CARE LIQUIDS BUSINESS
                                       
McBride plc ('McBride') announced today that the formation of a joint-venture
aerosol company, Aerosol Products Limited has been completed.  The acquisition
of Nichol Beauty Products Limited's household and personal care liquids
business by Robert McBride Ltd has also been completed.
