Transfer of shares into Treasury

McBride plc ("the Company") announces that on 24 February 2010 it purchased, through Investec, 200,000 ordinary shares in the Company at an average price of 230.4375p per share.  The Company will hold the shares in Treasury.

Following the purchase of these shares the Company holds 830,346 shares in Treasury and has a total of 180,209,955 ordinary shares (excluding treasury shares) in issue.
