Fire at Bookham premises

Photo-Me International PLC 22 December 2004 PHOTO-ME INTERNATIONAL PLC Fire at Bookham Premises PMI, the digital imaging company, announces that a fire last night destroyed a former factory building at Bookham, Surrey, used by approximately 50 maintenance and support personnel and to store equipment and stocks. There was nobody in the building at the time. PMI's adjacent Head Office is unaffected, apart from by a temporary loss of power. The Company is still evaluating the full impact of this incident. However, the operation of PMI's UK Vending business (with 8,200 sites, including 5,400 photobooths) will suffer no interruption, PMI's Manufacturing business (being based overseas) is substantially unaffected, and it is expected that the losses incurred will be substantially covered by insurance.
