                       Proposed Vending Division Disposal

Following the announcement on 2 July 2007 that the Board had asked Lazard to
explore whether an acceptable offer might be achievable for PMI's Vending
Division, the Board has unanimously concluded that there is a sufficient level
of interest for the process to move to its next phase. However, the Board would
like to stress that the process is ongoing and there can be no guarantee that a
sale at an acceptable level will be achieved.

A further update will be given as appropriate.
