ADDITIONAL LISTING

Application has been made for the blocklisting of 1,150,000 ordinary shares of
1p each in the Company ('Shares') under the following Company schemes:

Mears Group PLC EMI/Approved scheme                           100,000
Mears Group PLC Unapproved scheme                           1,050,000

The Shares shall, upon issue, rank pari passu with the Company's existing issued
ordinary shares, and dealings are expected to commence, subject to allotment, on
7 September 2006.
