Appointment of Non-Executive Director
Mears Group PLC (LSE: MER), a leading provider of services to the Housing and Care sectors in the UK, announces the appointment of Christopher Loughlin as a Non-Executive Director with effect from today.
Since 2016, Chris has been Chief Executive Officer of Pennon Group plc, the listed company which owns South West Water and the waste business Viridor. He was previously CEO of South West Water for a decade and before that held roles as Chief Operating Officer at Lloyds Register, as an Executive Director of British Nuclear Fuels Plc and Executive Chairman of Magnox Electric Plc.
In addition to being CEO of Pennon Group plc, Chris is currently chairman of British Water, a director of Water UK, and a director and trustee of the housing charity Reall.
No further information is required to be disclosed pursuant to LR 9.6.13 R.
