Change of External Auditor for the Financial Year ending 31 December 2020
Mears Group PLC announces that, following a tender process and review of their independence led by the Audit Committee, the Board has approved the appointment of Ernst & Young LLP ("EY") as external auditor of the Company and its subsidiaries for the financial year ending 31 December 2020. A resolution to re-appoint EY will be put to the Company's 2021 Annual General Meeting.
Grant Thornton UK LLP resigned as auditor following a review of their portfolio.
