Director Appointment

Mears, the provider of support services to the Social Housing and Care sectors in the UK, announces the appointment of Geraint Davies CBE as an independent Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 27 October 2015. Mr Davies has also been appointed as Chair of the Company's Audit Committee.

Geraint Davies is a Chartered Accountant, working for more than 25 years as a partner in professional practice. His experience includes working with Registered Social Landlords and across a broad spectrum of the Healthcare sector. He is a Director of a number of unlisted Commercial and Not for Profit Companies.

Geraint Davies has a beneficial interest in 2,500 ordinary shares representing 0.002 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.
