Appointment of Directors


Mears Group PLC confirms that following the recommended offer for Careforce
Group plc ('Careforce') going wholly unconditional, Peter Stone, Non-executive
Chairman of Careforce, Ole Bettum and Iain Francis Mackinnon, both Non-executive
Directors of Careforce, have resigned with effect from 13 April 2007.


David Robertson and Andrew Smith, both directors of Mears, have been appointed
to the board of Careforce with immediate effect.
