Mears Group PLC: Director's sharedealing
As announced on 7 April 2000, Martin O'Halloran exercised
options of 5,128,205 Ordinary Shares in Mears Group PLC
at a price of 1p per share after Board approval on
6 April 2000.
The Company has today received notice from Martin
O'Halloran, non-executive Director of the Company, that:
(i) On 6 April 2000 his wife, Elaine Beverly O'Halloran,
sold 1,538,462 Ordinary Shares in the Company at 15.5p
per share; and
(ii) On 6 April 2000 Martin O'Halloran disposed of
5,128,205 Ordinary Shares (issued pursuant to the option
detailed above) at 15.5p per share (subject to Admission
to AIM)
As a result of these disposals, Martin O'Halloran no
longer has an interest in the Ordinary Shares of Mears.
In addition, Martin has communicated to the board of the
Company his intention to resign as a Director at the next
Board meeting of the Company, currently scheduled for 3
May 2000.
