Issue of Equity and Block Listing Six Monthly Return
Medica Group PLC (LSE:MGP, "Medica" or the "Company"), the UK market leader in the provision of teleradiology services, has allotted and issued 200,000 ordinary shares of 0.2 pence each in the capital of the Company ("New Ordinary Shares"). The New Ordinary Shares were issued to the trustee of the Company's Employee Benefit Trust and will be used to satisfy awards and options vesting in the Medica Group PLC Performance Share Plan 2017.
Applications have been made for admission of the New Ordinary Shares to the premium listing segment of the Official List of the Financial Conduct Authority of the United Kingdom (the "FCA") and to trading on the London Stock Exchange plc's (the "London Stock Exchange") main market for listed securities (together, "Admission"). It is expected that Admission will become effective and that dealings will commence in the New Ordinary Shares at 8.00 a.m. on 5 January 2023. The New Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares in issue.
Following Admission, the Company will have 122,633,635 ordinary shares in issue.There are no ordinary shares held in treasury. Therefore, the Company hereby confirms that, following Admission, the total number of voting rights in the Company will be 122,633,635. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
