Mercury Group PLC 01 May 2008 1 May 2008 Mercury Group plc ('Mercury' or the 'Company') Matched bargain facility Further to the announcement on 31 March 2008, the Company is pleased to announce that, subject to shareholder approval of the delisting of the Company's shares from trading on the AIM Market, it has reached an agreement with JP Jenkins Stockbrokers to provide a matched bargain dealing facility in Mercury ordinary shares with effect from the date on which the proposed delisting from AIM takes place. JP Jenkins Stockbrokers is a trading division of IAF Securities Limited, a subsidiary of AIM quoted IAF Group PLC. The facility that will be operated by JP Jenkins Stockbrokers (the 'Facility') is a 'real time' matched bargain facility. Trades will be conducted at the level at which JP Jenkins Stockbrokers are able to match a willing seller and a willing buyer. An indicative middle market price, derived from the indication of all limit orders which have been received in Mercury shares over a period of time, will be displayed on JP Jenkins Stockbrokers' website. Shareholders and potential investors will be able to trade on the Facility through a UK regulated stockbroker or by becoming a registered client of IAF Securities Limited. The Facility will be available throughout the year during normal business hours. Details of the Facility will be posted on the Mercury website after the forthcoming AGM, if the necessary resolutions are passed at the AGM. Subject to the passing of the necessary resolutions cancellation of admission to trading on AIM is expected to be effective from 7.00am on 30 May 2008.
