('Mercury' or the 'Group')
announces
New Contract Award
Mercury Group plc, the integrated property services group, is pleased to
announce that it has entered into a three year contract with Vincos Limited, for
the provision of property services. Vincos Limited trades as Consensus Business
Group (CBG) and is managed by Vincent Tchenguiz. Under the terms of the
contract Mercury Group will receive £1.8m over three years.
The Directors of Mercury, excluding Stephen Russell who acts as a consultant for
CBG, consider, having consulted with KBC Peel Hunt Ltd, that the terms of the
contract are fair and reasonable in so far as Mercury's shareholders are
concerned.
Pendana Limited holds a 25.0 per cent interest (including the related voting
rights) in Mercury via a contract for difference written by KBC Peel Hunt Ltd.
Pendana and Vincos are both ultimately owned by Investec Trust (Guernsey)
Limited as Trustees of the Tchenguiz Family Trust, to which CBG provides
advisory services to in respect of numerous investments held by such trust.
