CATER BARNARD RECEIVES SFA APPROVAL
Cater Barnard plc today announces that its subsidiary, Cater Barnard
Securities Limited, has been authorised as an ISD Category D firm by the
Securities and Futures Authority with effect from 29th November 2001.
This enables Cater Barnard to complete its transformation into a Corporate
Finance Group, develop its investment banking activities and provide new
opportunities in Corporate Finance.
Mark Garratt, Chief Executive (UK) and Finance Director, commented: 'We are
delighted to receive approval from the SFA, and this now puts us in a position
to be able to further develop the business by increasing our range of
financial services offered.'
With the transformation complete, the London corporate finance and New York
corporate finance and brokerage businesses are now reviewing various
opportunities.
