     Media Content PLC and SDCi Limited announce online
  sports media market joint-venture, sportsmediarights.com.

Media Content Development Ltd, the investment arm of the AIM-
quoted Media Content PLC, today announces the formation of a
joint-venture  company  with  SDCi  Limited,  the  owner  of
programmerights.com     and    e-adsales.com,     electronic
marketplaces  for the television industry. The joint-venture
sportsmediarights  Limited,  will  be  50%  owned  by  Media
Content  and  50% by SDCi Limited, and plans to exploit  the
creation  of  sportsmediarights.com as an online marketplace
for  the  trading of sports television and media rights,  an
industry whose estimated annual turnover is in excess of  US
$14bn.

Jean-Paul  de la Fuente, CEO of Media Content  PLC  and  new
Chairman of sportsmediarights.com said: 'We are delighted to
be  working with SDCi Limited and with their online  trading
software system to build what we hope will become a  leading
independent  market  for the rapidly  growing  sports  media
rights sector.'

Len   Fertig,   Chairman  of  SDCi   Limited,   said:   'Our
relationship with Media Content will allow us to combine our
own  technological assets with their specific and  extensive
expertise in sports media rights.'

Sportsmediarights.com  is currently in  development  and  is
targeted to go 'live' in May 2001.

Len  Fertig is a non-executive director of Media Content Plc
and  also  a  director  of  SDCi Limited.   Len  Fertig  and
connected  parties own 31.1% of the issued share capital  of
