Board Changes

MedicX Fund, (LSE: MXF), the specialist investor in modern purpose built primary healthcare properties, announces that David Staples has today been appointed as Chairman elect on the Board of MedicX Fund and will take over the role as Chairman on 1 November 2008.

David Staples is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Adviser. He also holds the Institute of Directors' Diploma in Company Direction. For thirteen years until 2003, Mr Staples was a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers ('PWC') and led the tax practice in the South East of England.  Since leaving PwC, Mr Staples has been appointed to the Boards of five Companies as a non-executive director for which he chairs the audit committees of two of them; Gottex Fund Management Holdings (listed on the Swiss Exchange, SWE) and Premier Renewable Energy Fund (listed on LSE main market). His other appointments include directorships of private equity funds and a private property investment group.

MedicX Fund also announces that Jorge Tavares will resign as Chairman on 31st October as he wishes to retire.
