Notice of dividend and notification of results
The Directors have approved a quarterly dividend of 1.35p per ordinary share in respect of the period 1 January 2010 to 31 March 2010. The dividend will be paid on 30 June 2010 to ordinary shareholders on the register as at close of business 14 May 2010 (the "Record Date"). The corresponding ex-dividend date will be 12 May 2010. The Directors expect, subject to unforeseen circumstances, to pay dividends totalling 5.4p per Ordinary Share in respect of the financial year ending 30 September 2010.
The Company is offering such shareholders the opportunity to take new ordinary shares in the Company, credited as fully paid, in lieu of the cash dividend to be paid on 30 June 2010, by participating in a Scrip Dividend Scheme (the "Scheme").
It is expected that the terms and conditions of the Scheme, including information as to the action shareholders should take if they wish to participate in the Scheme, along with election forms, will be circulated to shareholders on 17 May 2010. The option to participate in the Scheme will be available to shareholders until 4 June 2010 (the "election date"). The Scheme documents will also be made available to shareholders on the MedicX Fund website.
The Company (LSE: MXF), will announce its interim period results on Wednesday, 25 May 2010.
