THE MERCANTILE INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

FOURTH QUARTERLY DIVIDEND

The Directors have declared that a fourth interim dividend of 17.00p per share will be paid on 1^st May 2015 to shareholders on the register as at the close of business on 7^th April 2015.  The ex-dividend date will be 2^nd April 2015.  The election date for the Dividend Re-Investment Plan will be 13^th April 2015.
