Further to the announcement made on 2 April 2002, Montpellier Group plc is
pleased to announce that the acquisition of Union Investment Management Limited,
the freehold property at 39 Cornhill, London and a 26.6% shareholding in Jarvis
Porter Group plc from The Union Discount Company of London Limited have now been
completed and 17,461,834 new ordinary 10p shares in Montpellier issued and
allotted to The Union Discount Company of London Limited. Application has been
made for the new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and it is
expected that admission will take place and dealings commence on 15 April 2002.
