Montpellier Group Plc  'Montpellier' or the 'Company'



Following shareholder approval on 20 October 2003 to the proposal to dispose of
the Company's Investment Division to Browallia Discount Company Limited ('
Browallia') and to buy back 20,000,000 Ordinary shares from Browallia
International BV ('BV') in order to cancel them, the Company announces that it
was informed on 23 October 2003 that BV has transferred its remaining
shareholding in Montpellier to its parent, Browallia.  As a result, BV no longer
has any interest in the share capital of Montpellier.



Browallia Discount Company Limited now owns 20,000,000 Ordinary shares in the
Company amounting to approximately33.74% of the reduced issued share capital.
