Purchase of Own Securities

Further to the announcement made earlier today by Montpellier Group, the
Company announces that on 21 September 2001 it purchased an additional 25,000
of its own ordinary shares of 10p each at a price of 23p per share and that on
24 September 2001 it purchased 25,000 of its own ordinary shares of 10p each
at a price of 24p per share.



Following the above purchases there are now 60,963,538 ordinary shares in
issue.
