Results of AGM and EGM



At the Annual General Meeting of YJL plc ('YJL') held on 21
January 2000 resolutions 1, 2, 3 and 4, as set out in the
Notice of Annual General Meeting dated 16 December 1999, were
put to the meeting and duly passed.

The Board of YJL further announces that at the Extraordinary
General Meeting held on 21 January 2000 the resolution to
approve the waiver of obligations under Rule 9 of the City
Code on Takeovers and Mergers was duly passed.
