Transfer of Treasury Shares

Mercia Asset Management PLC (AIM: MERC), the proactive, regionally focused specialist alternative asset manager with over £1.8billion of assets under management, announces that on 29 August 2024, the Company transferred 6,666 Ordinary shares of 0.001p ("Ordinary Shares") from Treasury to satisfy the exercise of employee share options. 

The Company confirms that as at 29 August 2024, its issued share capital consisted of 431,152,389 Ordinary Shares, all with voting rights. In addition, 15,527,134 shares are currently held in Treasury. The total number of voting rights in the Company as at 29 August 2024 is therefore 431,152,389 and this figure may therefore be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, to the Company.

The Company also announces that a further 49,995 Ordinary Shares will be issued from Treasury on 2 September 2024, also to satisfy the exercise of employee share options.  

The Company confirms that as of 2 September 2024, its issued share capital will consist of 431,202,384 Ordinary Shares, all with voting rights. In addition, 15,477,139 shares will be held in Treasury. The total number of voting rights in the Company on 2 September 2024 will therefore be 431,202,384 and this figure may be used by shareholders from that date as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, to the Company.
