Metals Exploration PLC (the 'Company') announces that today it has received
notice that Jonathan Beardsworth, Chief Executive and a director of the Company,
purchased today a total of 250,000 ordinary shares at 29p per share of 1p each
respectively in the share capital of the Company.



The total number of Ordinary Shares held by Mr. Beardsworth following the share
purchases is 250,000 shares, representing 0.32 per cent. of the issued share
capital of the Company.
