PRESTIGE ORDERS FOR HATHERN TERRACOTTA
Michelmersh Brick Holdings plc (AIM:MBH), the specialist brick, land development and landfill company, announces that Hathern Terracotta, its terracotta and faience production business launched in August last year, has won six supply contracts for high profile projects in London.
The contracts are for the supply of a variety of specialist bespoke terracotta and faience products for:
- the refurbishment of the Savoy in the Strand;
- the refurbishment of a world renowned department store in Knightsbridge;
- the refurbishment of the Henry Cole Building at the V&A in South Kensington;
- construction of the new Apple Store in Covent Garden;
- the residential redevelopment of 3-7 Fitzjohn's Avenue in St John's Wood;
- the refurbishment of Barons Court Underground Station.
Hathern Terracotta is based at Michelmersh's specialist handmade works at Charnwood. Martin Warner, Chief Executive of Michelmersh said; "Building on our reputation as a leading UK producer of premium, handmade bricks, we launched Hathern Terracotta to extend our product range. Since, we have seen substantial demand for our specialised products allowing us to broaden our customer base."
