Advanced Notice of Final Results

Anglo-Welsh Group confirms that it expects to announce results for the full
year ended 31 October 1999 in February.  As indicated in the interim results
for the half year to 30 April 1999, announced on 27 August, the Company has
experienced a reduction in bookings.  This trend continued for the full year
and, as anticipated at the interim stage, this has adversely affected profit
levels.

The Company is currently achieving booking levels significantly ahead of the
comparable period last year.  In addition, the Company's timeshare operation,
which trades as the Water Time Club, has completed its initial start up phase
and sales of time share opportunities are beginning to make a contribution to
current trading.
