Change to Board of Directors

The Board of Anglo-Welsh is pleased to be able to announce that as from Monday
17 April it has appointed Stephen George Thomson and David John Medlock as
non-executive directors to the Company.

Mr Medlock is deemed to be interested in 308,500 ordinary shares of the
Company, representing approximately 9.67 per cent. of the entire issued share
capital.
