Leisure Development Go Ahead
Anglo Welsh, the UK narrow boat holiday operator, has received planning
consent to develop its first waterside leisure complex at the picturesque and
historical site of Great Haywood, Staffordshire.
The development, which covers an area of approximately four acres, will
comprise a public house, restaurant, hotel, shop, hire fleet facility and a
marina for thirty narrow boats. The site also includes substantial car
parking capacity.
The grant of planning permission will enhance the value of the site
significantly and the directors are in discussions with potential development
partners.
