The board of Anglo-Welsh Group plc announce that Bill Furniss, Operations
Director, will be leaving the board effective the 15th November 2000. The
board would like to thank him for his contribution to Anglo-Welsh over the
past years and wish him good luck in the future. Following this, Bill will
continue to help Anglo-Welsh in a consulting capacity.
